YEAR 4

Welcome families to Term 1, 2019! I’m looking forward to a busy, fun filled and hard- working year with the Year 4 class. I’m very happy to teach this class and see how they’ve matured and grown since I taught most of them in Prep. I’m especially pleased with how quickly the students have settled back into the school routine and continued with their learning. The class is now buddied up with the Grade 2 class to help with reading in the mornings. The Grade 4’s displayed great responsibility in helping the Grade 2’s with their reading.

A few reminders to students and parents- homework is handed out Mondays and is due Fridays as usual. At the moment, less than half of the class is handing in completed homework. This is a little disappointing, hopefully there will be a big improvement in this. Well done to the students who have been organised in completing their homework.

Sports uniforms are to be worn Tuesdays and Thursdays. Please remember to pack fruit for fruit break and do not include chips, lollies or chocolate in lunchboxes.

Could all students please bring a box of tissues for the classroom.

In class, the Grade 4 students have been talking about their goals for 2019.
